Resell, Master Resale Rights, & PLR — Part 2by TheNightOwlHang on... Have you read Part 1 of this article yet? 5. Personal Private Label Rights All the comments regarding quality, etc. for products with these types of rights are the same as what I've written in the next section (i.e. Point #6). The only difference between #5 and #6 on this list is that Personal PLR means you can slice it and dice it and repurpose it to your heart's content, BUT... ...you (generally) cannot offer Resell, MRR, or PLR rights to the same product(s). I assume this is to protect the PLR vendor from having his or her customers become direct competitors. An example: If you had a PLR membership site and were selling packages with full private label resell rights, then I could come along, purchase your private label products... then turn around and start selling exactly the same package, offering exactly the same rights for sale! Eek! This wouldn't be very fair to you; you've paid a team of researchers and writers to put together your plr products and I swoop in, pay my money and immediately become your direct competition. So, generally, the license terms for Personal PLR state that you can use, say, the private label articles or plr ebooks on as many of your own sites as you like in any way you like, but you cannot resell those products with resell rights. 6. Private Label Rights (PLR) Mostly this will deal with articles, but there are some sites that also sell private label ebooks. This is basically carte blanche. You can do whatever you like with this content. You can resell it "as is", with or without resale rights. You can offer resale right, master rights, combine them and use them for niche ebooks, website content, blog content, emails, reviews, as scripts for podcasts and videos... basically whatever you want. Consequently, these kinds of products tend to be the most expensive. But not always. The problem, as is the case with all the categories we've discussed, is quality. Some PLR is quite good and with a little imagination can easily be modified and packaged to create information products that will produce residual income for years to come once set up. This kind of content is perfect for niche marketing. Unfortunately, the overwhelming majority of it is completely useless garbage at best and utter machine-generated gibberish at worst. If you do plan to write articles from PLR content to submit to article directories, make sure you rework them significantly to avoid being flagged. And if you're using it as content for your blog or sites, or you want to use it to earn money through online ebooks, don't forget that you're writing for real people. So be sure to check that it all reads clearly and simply and naturally. After all, it's your name (or your company name) on it!
And there you have it. That concludes this rather long overview of how to make money fast with article, software, and ebook reseller rights. Ebooks with resell rights are stilll doing a roaring trade online and are one of those simple, but powerful money making ideas. As a reseller, though, you just need to be careful. Always make sure that you're not in breach of the license you've acquired. And check the source of your download. I've been passed a few things that I thought were reseller ebooks (as part of, say, a large master resale rights package) which, upon closer investigation, I found were illegally distributed! Fortunately, I've never resold one. If in doubt, contact the product owner and ask. Their contact details are usually in the product itself or easy to track down. I hope this article has been useful helps you become a successful ebooks reseller! Best of luck with it,
